What is something (or more than one thing) about you -- just as you are, not based in something you do or have achieved -- that makes you special and makes you you?

For instance, my sweetheart has the gift and talent of being able to make people around him feel comfortable. One of my best friends has an amazing natural sense of color and style, and another seems to make many of us feel valuable just in being the way she is.

Our achievements are important, to be sure, and laudable, but it's not like without them, we're nothing. All of us have at least a few things (and likely plenty more) that make us awesome and special which are just part of who we are.

So, fess up!

Okay sounds like I'll be the first to go.

I've been told multiple times that I'm a really good listener, always ready to lend an ear no matter what and also a good person to go to for support.

Some people also told me that they felt it was easy to open up to me because in addition to what I said above, they felt like I wouldn't judge them and that I would care.

I've been told several times that I'm quite blunt- but in a refreshingly honest way.

A very dear friend of mine tells me I have a beautiful way of looking at life that always makes her feel better.
It's when she says things like that that makes me feel better. [Smile]

I think I'm quite caring, a lot of people have told me they think I'm kind.

Always knock before entering my room when I am in there alone, as I may be doing all sorts of wonderfully thrilling things that I'd rather you didn't see.
