Hello there. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day, and might be able to help me out here.
I met my boyfriend at an All County for bands. Basically, a bunch of schools get together with their most talented musicians and we perform a concert after a day and a half of rehearsal. Really cool, actually, and I'm lucky to have been chosen. He sat in between two of my good friends, and I accidentally slipped up and told them I thought he was cute. My friends, being boys, of course told him. I was moritified, but it all worked out in the end.
Anyways, we're dating now. And we get along great, we are extremely similar and since we don't go to the same school, we're learning new things about each other all the time. We're both juniors in high school, and since we have school, we obviously don't see each other every day, so we take what time we can get. We have a lot of fun together, and I really enjoy his company.
Now, for my question. His birthday is March 5th. I definitely won't see him on that day, or the day after. I will possibly see him on Sunday, if things work in our favor. I want to do something for him, not just because he's my boyfriend, but I enjoy making people happy on their birthdays. That being said, what in the world do I do/get him? We've been dating for a week. I'm not going to buy him a huge gift or anything, because while things are great right now, who knows what will happen in the near future.
Any suggestions? I can provide more info about him if anyone needs it, haha.

You know, I feel like with something this new, something small and simple that's just a sweet gesture is usually the best call. Like, how about making or getting him a cake or some cupcakes?

He would love cupcakes/a cake. I've made him my amazing brownies already (Mix a container of chocolate fudge frosting in your batter, and bake them a little longer. They stay super gooey and amazing.) He basically said they were the most amazing things ever. He's got a major sweet tooth, so he would totally love something like that.
I might get something small, if I see something that reminds me of him while I'm out and about.
Thanks!

If you're doing something like that, one fun thing you could do are to get silly little gifts (like goony plastic rings or jelly-monster finger puppets) from gumball machines or such and put one of each of those on each cupcake.
