What do you think about a guy that shaved his pubic hair?

Couldn't care either way, especially since this has already been much discussed, and would appear to be in the wrong forum. I don't know if it's just me, but I'd rather base a relationship on a person than their hair -- or lack thereof.

Doesn't REALLY matter to me, whatever he wants to do, it's his body.

In a word: not much.

What a partner of mine wants to do with his appearance is none of my business.

I know I'm not a girl but I just found this site and have some input. I have some cause I tried it once. Not just in my private area but all over. At fist I shaved my legs cause everyone on distance team in track did it to make running more comfortable I gues I wen t all the way cause It made me feel clean. I stopped cause I feared ridicuel but it seems most people don't care from the responses I read. I'm glad to know at least girls wouldn't care.

My boyfriend shaved his pubic hair for the first time about 2 weeks ago. He wanted to see how everything looked when shaven. He liked it so now he's keeping it up. It makes no difference to me, whichever he prefers.

Personally, I dont care, its your preference, if you want it shaved then shave it. It shouldnt matter what other people thing, besides your girlfriend isnt married or going out with your pubic hair.

I wouldn't think any less of him or anymore of him. I've been with guys who shaved and ones that haven't and it's made no difference to me.

Personally i wouldn't give a damn, as most people would say here, it's really about what you want to do, it IS Your hair afterall.
Why not try and see what you think of it?

Personally, I really like a little hair. I can't exactly say why but I do. I have been with guys that shaved their treasure trails but it wasn't THAT big of a deal. As for all out shaved? Not sure how I would feel about that but I suppose it wouldn't be a crisis or anything...

I've never heard the term "treasure trails" before.

I wouldn't really 'think' anything of the guy in particular. Both my fiance and I have shaved our hair for experimentation and do so from time to time but it's not really a big deal. I will say that it makes oral sex a little easier, but that's really the only 'benefit.' But I wouldn't be squicked out by the appearance of his genital area either way.

Jill2000Plus: Treasure trail, happy highway, just little nicknames for the fuzz guys have leading from their bellybuttons to their more intimate areas.

On a side note, what does everyone think of women shaving theirs? I think it's quite a bit more common than guys doing it, but I'm not sure how much is media and how much is for real. Nobody, even my closest girl friends, seems comfortable with the subject, like we're all embarrassed no matter what we do with it. What do you think?

Thanks Theta, I actually guessed what it meant, I just thought it was amusing (in a non-mocking way). I tend to call it a happy trail, and I have a bit of one (I'm female) actually.

here's my thinking: do what YOU want to do. It's your body. It's your identity.

While I haven't been with a guy who shaved his pubic hair, I have many girlfriends who shave their's (and many girlfriends who don't).

The only thing that bothers me is when my girlfriends who are shaven act repulsed and disgusted by my girlfriends who aren't...

bodies are beautiful with or without hair!!
