Hey Every1-
I've been seeing this guy whos 26 [I'm 16] for the past 3 months were not going out but have been having sex, etc. Anyway I thought up until yesterday that I loved him and would never could never second guess those feelings,I thought I wanted to marry him and be with him forever, that he was the one for me etc.. When my ex told me how much he loved me,and he and I have alot of history together we were best friends for 4 years and have gone "out" on and off.[My ex is 17] Anyway I'm just so confused I dont know whats going on,I mean my feelings changed in a day and made me question how much I loved my current..Does that say something? And the whole follow your heart thing isnt applicable here. Please Help!! Thanx-

I think that what it says is that you're 16. (Not to say that 16 year olds can't find a long term pair bond, etc) There's nothing at all wrong about being unsure about who you want to be with, that's something that happens to people of all ages. There's nothing that says that you have to feel settled with your current partner right now. If you want to explore other things, then do so.

Btw, I don't know what the age of consent laws are in your area, but you might want to check and make sure that what you and your partner are doing isn't going to be statuatory rape, etc.
