I recently tried to have sex with a guy for the first time at 19. Before, I'd only had sex with girls, and that was way easier. The thing is, penetration was not easy and it hurt a LOT. One problem was probably that I wasn't warmed up enough; I don't think I was lubricated enough. But another issue is that even when I'm really turned on by myself, I can barely fit three of MY fingers inside myself. My pelvis does not accommodate more: I am pressing up against the pubic bone and my vagina can't stretch past the bone, obviously.
Do I have to wait until I just gain weight? I've been underweight/skinny my entire life but I'm biologically healthy. I have narrow hips. How do I go about sex next time if my body literally won't allow anything bigger than two fingers in?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with penetrative sex and that it's making you worry that you might have something wrong with your body. If it is of any solace to you, fear not--assuming you are all up to date with your general and sexual health exams with the doctor, you do not have to be a certain weight and/or body type to have penetrative sex that isn't painful.
