Firstly, I just want to say, condoms are awesome birth control. So easy and effective. [Smile] My question is, I know a condom should not be used twice, as in, after it has ejaculate in it, but today, the following happened with my partner and I - we were having intercourse, and I got tired, so we stopped for about 5-7 minutes, and then started back so he could finish. He didn't ejaculate before we stopped nor did he go soft during that time, so he kept the same condom on. Should we have used a second condom after we took a break?

Hi Roxie,

If your condom didn't break or fall off, then there isn't a problem with the way you did things today.

In future, I'd suggest changing condoms just to be sure that the condom is fully intact since if his erection had gone down, or the condom had come into contact with something, that could compromise the condom.

So, in other words. No harm, no foul today. i'd just suggest being observant in future and erring on the side of caution. [Smile]
