The Center for Sexual Health and Pleasure recently featured a Q&A article (link HERE ) on the question "Is sex compulsory?"- long story short, no.

To quote directly from the article,
quote:
"no one is obligated to have sex for any reason. This is true for everyone, regardless of gender, relationship and marital status, sexual orientation, prior sexual history, and current sexual behaviors."
The takeaway is this: While sex has the capacity to be a wonderful experience, you don't have to feel like you have to be having it, whether you're not interested today, or at all.

Feel free to share any and all of your thoughts on the matter!
