Okay so Im not in any need of a test at the moment but was just wondering when the best time to take a pregnancy test is. The last time I was at Planned Parenthood a few months back the woman told me I could take a test 14 days after intercourse. But I keep reading that you should wait until after you miss a period. Which is it? If you had sex in your first week of your cycle, will the test still be accurate 14 days later even though you have a full week to go before your period?

What's generally recommended is that you either take the test 14 days after your risk or once your period is missed, which ever comes first.
