Hi,
So I always notice that when I give my boyfriend oral I get flushed and my chest gets a rash on it. It goes away within 30-60 minutes but is something wrong? And this only happens for oral. Not sex, kissing ,oral on me ect. Also we are both clean. Thanks! :3

Chances are all that's going on here is that you've got your face and chest in a position and area of his body that's very warm, honestly.

Unless this is only happens with direct contact with his ejaculate -- and then only where you have had this contact -- this likely isn't anything to be concerned about.

But, since it sounds like you two get tested, you can always double-check this with your sexual healthcare provider, if you like.

Are you sure it's from heat?
It's a blotchy type of rash, almost like an allergy.
I am allergic to peanuts, but he doesn't eat them so I don't know.

The only way to know for sure what this is would be to ask a doctor; this just isn't something we could diagnose over the internet even if we were qualified to do so.

No, I'm not sure.

Like I said, the best person to check this with would be a sexual healthcare provider -- or even a general doctor -- who can take a look at you in person and also have your health history in hand.

It's not likely to be a semen allergy, which is really the only thing that would be a particular issue here, since we can't just generally be allergic to people. But you could certainly find out yourself with that by using a condom during oral sex: if you do and this doesn't happen, maybe that is what it is. If the same thing happens, it's clearly not.

But again, this really isn't something anyone could be sure of who isn't examining you, and even more ideally, seeing this rash right after it's happened. So, if you're concerned about it -- and especially if this hurts when it happens, or feels like an allergic reaction you have had before, like with peanuts -- why not talk with your healthcare provider?
