Hi! I have been on the pill for over a year and a half now, and i am very good at taking the pill at the same time every day (I have an alarm set), even the sugar pills. I am not expecting my period for another few weeks, but I am bleeding. THis has happened once before in the fall ( i believe october), but why is it happening again??

Even when you take your pill as directed, you may sometimes experience some spotting. If that just happens every once in a while, it's fine and nothing to worry about.

If you were to spot several months in a row, that would be a good thing to talk to your gynecologist about. But just as a one off, it's not a big deal.
