Okay so, normally my pill pack ends on a Tuesday for me to start my pill-free week. somehow I ended up with an extra pill at the end of the month, must have missed one or something, and then thinking it was only Tuesday I took the pill, when actually it was Wednesday. Normally my period comes on the Saturday after my last pill on the Tuesday. Now we're on Monday, my discharge has changed colour like it normally does before my period but its been like that since Saturday morning and normally it's only like that for half a day ish.

Irregularities in taking the pill, such as missing one pill altogether, can affect the withdrawal bleed. So, it may come later than you are used to, or you may skip it entirely.

Okay thanks for your help, I assumed that would be the cause as there is no pregnancy risk.
