Well, I've been on BC since 2010 and I've always taken Femelle 20. The past few months I had spotting, so my doctor told me to change to Femelle. There is a difference between them, because Femelle 20 had only 4 inactive pills and Femelle has 7.

With Femelle 20 I chose not to take the placebo pills, as I considered it unnecessary, but I feel a little insecure about not taking pills fore a whole week!

BC is my only birth control method, will I still be pregnancy-protected during the placebo week?

Hi Cati. Birth control pills work for the entire cycle, including the placebo week, even if it is a whole week [Smile]
