So I've been sexually active with my boyfreind for a couple of months now, and I've noticed something odd. Sometimes, when he orgasms, he urinates at the same time. It's involuntary (once it was while I was giving him head, which mortified him, so it's definitely not deliberate on his part.) I'm certain it's urine because of a) the scent, and b) the way it look in a condom. Semen and pre-ejaculate don't come in such large quantities or that shade of yellow.

He was a virgin when we first got together, and I'm not sure if he realises it's not the norm. I'm just concerned as to whether it should be a cause for concern over his health. If it's just a benign quirk of his system I don't mind, I love him either way...but I'd like to know if it might be a sign of some underlying problem.

He's 18, so I would assume he's physically mature, and it doesn't happen all the time (maybe one in 10?) I'd still like to know what's going on though, if it can be resolved, and if it's a danger sign.

That actually isn't possible because of the way the internal structures of the penis work with ejaculation: effectively, the dam to the bladder is shut off at that time. If, however, that IS what is happening, then yes, that means something is very amiss, and he'd want to check in with a doctor.

But if his ejaculate is smelling very strongly -- esp. more so than usual -- and looking very yellow, what he'd want to make sure of is that he doesn't have an infection, which is much, much more likely to be the cause of those changes. Is he up-to-date with his sexual healthcare, including STI screenings?
