Making a doctor's appointment would be a good idea: it could be a yeast infection or an allergic reaction to something, or just some irritation, but it's always a good idea to get this kind of thing checked out. Do you need help finding a healthcare provider you can see?
(Also, as you've already figured out, having sex when you've got any sort of genital irritation going on is not a great idea. So, until you have this sorted, avoid genital sex of any kind, and go easy on that delicate tissue: loose cotton underwear is best, and if you can find it, a bit of pure aloe vera gel can help soothe the itching.)

I'll make an appointment; I'm really hoping the doctor can suggest some effective treatment as the discomfort means I can't exercise and general walking around/sometimes even sitting can be uncomfortable.
