I lost my virginity to my boyfriend a little over a month ago, and overall sex has been great. I used to not be able to feel much pleasure at all during intercourse, but he bought some new lube (intense arousal gel) and it has worked wonders. However, with the lube, the pleasure is almost to the point of it being uncomfortable sometimes and I have to stop. Is vaginal pleasure something I just need to get used to or is there something else we can do to make it more comfortable for me?

Well, no matter what kind of sex someone is engaging in, it's always okay to press pause and stop or switch up to something else if they want to.
And for sure, sometimes a given sexual activity can result in sensation overload so people do want to dial things down a little bit.
So, how about you try taking a pause and switching to a different kind of sex -- or none at all, maybe making out, taking a few minutes to talk, whatever -- when you feel that way and see how that goes?
