Figured I would post this here to see if this has happened to anyone else before.
I had a really bad and very sudden onset UTI a litttle over a month ago. I went to the ER, got some antibiotics and the infection was gone within three days. However, I am still feeling that pressure like I have to pee nearly all the time. I've been tested multiple times for a lingering infection but there's nothing there.
I'm seeing a urologist in the very near future but is this normal? What could be causing it? Anybody experienced it before? Is this going to go away? It's the worst feeling.

I'm glad you're seeing a specialist, as that really is your best bet at this point. If the infection has cleared (and they've verified that with tests), then you shouldn't still be having symptoms a month later. Sometimes there can be some leftover irritation, but that will generally clear within a few days to a week of being clear of infection. A month later is on the long side. We can't even begin to guess what the deal might be, so the best person to help is definitely going to be a urologist.
