I masturbate from time to time and whenever I do, I twitch a lot when I touch my clitoris. Also, I don't think I have ever orgasmed, because it's like building up and building up and then something makes me stop. It does feel good though. And then after a few minutes I try again and I just stop before I feel anything. I dunno what an orgasm is supposed to feel like, so I can't really explain.

Edit: Oh yeah, my question is, is twitching normal? And my other one is: can I get past the build up and to the orgasm?

Your clitoral glans -- probably the part you are touching -- is a tiny organ full of thousands of sensory nerve endings. There's no other place on any human body that is that small with that many sensory nerves.

So, for sure, twitching -- shivering, shuddering, what have you -- in response to that touch can happen and isn't anything to be concerned about.

Per hat you're asking with orgasm, it sounds like you're possibly stopping yourself before you get there, so the answer may be to just...well, don't do that. Keep going through that point, and if the WAY you are touching yourself at those times feels like too much, adjust what you're doing so you still have stimulation (to whatever body parts), but not the kind that feels like too much or doesn't feel quite right.
