I've never had sex with a man; so while talking to a girlfriend of mine about sex, something she said about post-coitus struck me as surprising, So here's my question.

After a man ejaculates inside of a woman, is it normal for excess semen/fluids to run back out of the vagina?

Yep. Ejaculate isn't immune to gravity, so some of it will run back out.
