well i havent gotten my period for about a week now... i did get spotting a week b4 for like 2 days.... i took a pregnancy test and it said negative. how acurate are these tests? and if i am in fact not pregnant then why havent i gotten my period yet? im usually not late k thanks!

MIA, or Dude, Where's My Period?

Ths article outlines common reasons why a period might be delayed. As for the pregnancy test, sometimes there can be false negatives (usually because of taking the test too soon, or not using the first urine of the day to test) so many HPTs now have two tests per box, so you can test again a week later to be sure.
