I just took my pill 20 minutes late! How much does this increase the effectiveness? Will it be ok if I decide to have sex tomorrow? Thanks a lot!

Typically, there's a window of about an hour or two on each side of your regular pill taking time (this depends on your formulation - lower dose pills can have a smaller window). 20 minutes shouldn't really adversely affect the effectiveness of your pill, but if you're not sure and the leaflet isn't too clear about it, use condoms! They're necessary for STI protection anyway, and they'll provide good backup contraception.
