after my boyfriend fingers me, i bleed a little bit right after. the blood is bright red, and stops after a few hours. whats going on, is there something wrong with me or is it just something that happens with this type of sexual activity?

Okie first of all, take a deep breath ... You're normal. A lot of girls bleed the first few times after they've been fingered because the inside of your vagina has to be stretched a bit ... to accomadate fingers Or your hymen could still be blocking part of your vagina, so that might be where the bleeding is coming from. As long as it's not too heavy and doesn't stick around for long, i wouldn't worry about it. Just let him know what's going on, and ask him to slow down and be more gentle. It'll probably be way more pleasureable for you and you may not bleed later on ...

AND, one more thing ... Please don't double post. If you want your q answered by a sexpert, then you can post in 'ask a sexpert' but if you want other ppl to answer then you can post somewhere else (eg. here) but you can't have it both ways ... Pick one

thanx very much 4 asking this, because the same this happened to me when my (now ex) boyfriend fingered me. I was also wondering though, if this means my hymen has broken, or whether it on the way to breaking, because the fingering wasn't really very pleasurable and I wanted to know if that will last for ever, or just until my hymen has broken.

Cutie Pie.. just a side note.. your hymen doesn't actually break, it stretches..
Sometimes it can rip slightly when this happens, and that may cause bleeding.

You can learn more about your hymen here: http://www.scarleteen.com/pink/pages/virginity.html#hymens
