so recently I trimmed my pubic hair with a small pair of scissors and it started to irritate me, like it would feel like it was poking at my vulva area and it would become itchy. Now I think my vulva area is irritated and slightly swollen? It gets a little itchy at times but other than that. It doesn't really bother me.

I'm going to wait for a week or so before I see a doctor but I just wanted to know if it's possible my hair is causing the irritation? I'm sensitive in that area. My discharge lately has been milky watery and it doesn't really have a foul odor not does it itch when it comes out.

It is possible that trimming the hair caused some irritation. But if the swelling and itching does not go away in another day or so, it is a good idea to have a doctor take a look just in case.

The itching stopped but there's this one spot that keeps irritating me so I went to the doctors and she could barely tell why. She said its a cut and it'll go away on its own prescribed me an anti-fungal cream ,

But when I got home I searched up how to help it heal faster and I got a whole bunch of forums stating that it might be herpes? I'm panicking and I'm scared. It's just one small cut, there's nothing white or blistering. It just hurts to wipe it with toilet paper.

You already saw a healthcare provider who gave you the most reliable information: information based on examining your body, not broad information, like found online in this regard, about what something might be when someone hasn't had an exam.

So, I see no cause not to go by what your doctor has said here. Did they give you a time window in which to call them back or see them again if you don't experience improvement?

I guess you're right, she did a examination and said that there's nothing that raised any red flags.

But no she did not say to come back, she said it would go away on its own.

If you're concerned about how long it will take to go away, you could call your doctor's office and ask that. Usually what will happen is that the nurse or medical assistant will take the message for the doctor, and someone will get back to you with the doctor's answer.
