Hi im new in here and sorry if im posting on the wrong place, the reason im here its because a week ago my bf and I were alone and I started to give him a handjob, he went to the restroom to finish and Im not sure that he cleaned his hands, after this he started to finger me, im worried that he didnt clean the semen on his fingers, could that make me pregnant? I was super scared and the next day after that( the fingering) I got my period, but it was more light than the usual and it lasted fewer days, and I read online that in some cases even when you get your period you could be pregnant. I've read some of your articles that talk about manual sex, and say that its not a risk, but none of them say nothing about having cum or precum on the fingers.Im worried and paranoid and thinking all day in what ifs, Do you think I need to take a pregnancy test?

Hi anairami, and welcome to Scarleteen.

There is a mention of the situation you describe in this article: Pregnancy Scared? This article also talks about the specific things that ARE needed for there to be a pregnancy risk: Where DID I Come From? A Refresher Course in Human Reproduction

When we say that manual sex doesn't pose a risk, that includes the situation you describe - if it didn't, we'd certainly mention that.

So me getting my period next day of the risk, was a reassurance that what I did was not a pregnancy risk?

Well, getting your period is a sign that you aren't pregnant, yes. But as I said above, you don't need to worry about your period as a sign of not being pregnant when you haven't had a pregnancy risk in the first place!
