I went to my boyfriend's house yesterday and after he went to urinate I did so just right after he came out of the bathroom. The water in the toilet bowl was filled up quite high and when I urinated, some of the toilet water splashed onto my vulva. I also noticed some foam or froth floating on the water prior to sitting down, but presumably this was some sanitizing liquid automatically added to the water after each flush, as it reappeared after I flushed afterwards.

As far as I know, we had not been aroused prior to this, so the chance of his carrying semen is probably quite low. However, I am really quite paranoid as I know I am near my time of ovulation and I am pretty sure some toilet water splashed onto my vulva. Also, when I asked him whether he had flushed, he seemed unsure and told me it was something he did obliviously and was something he did not consciously take note of. Hence I would be grateful if you could let me know whether whether i) sperm (if any were present) can survive toilet water, ii) with and iii) without a flush, and whether I have legitimate grounds to be so paranoid.

I appreciate your time to read and answer this. Thank you so much in advance!

HI andromeda1,

What you're describing is not a way anyone can get pregnant.
Here's an article on what is and isn't a pregnancy risk that I thihnk will help you sort this out.
Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?

I'm also unclear about where you're getting this idea that there is sperm in urine. There's not. This article on how reproduction works would, I think, help you clear up some of these confusions.
