Hi, my boyfriend and I had protected sex last February 23. He ejaculated inside the condom. My last two periods were on January 2 and January 27, and I induced my last period using parsley because I was about to go out of town. Just last night, I noticed a slight brown pinkish discharge, and this morning I also had a slight brown discharge. Could I be pregnant? I'm extremely worried. Thank you so much for reading my post.

I read the Pregnancy Scared article and it certainly helped me relax a bit, however the discharge still unnerves me as I have never experienced it before. I do hope I am getting my period.

HI There ClairCarlyle,

It's not unusual for a period to start differently than it usually does. That is, sometimes a period can start very slowly and look more like discharge than anything else. [Smile]

It's also not unusual to sometimes spot a little between periods, though it sounds like you're expecting your period to come any time.
It sounds like you keep track of when your periods arrive. Do they usually tend to arrive after the same amount of time, or is it different sometimes?

They usually arrive at the same time each month. I am happy to say that I got my period awhile ago. Thank you for replying. [Smile] I would educate myself more on the different kinds of birth control so as to stop worrying myself in the future.

If you'd like to talk about birth control options, we're happy to do that with you.

You can start with that information right here, if you'd like: Birth Control Bingo!
