I sent a question into the texting line, but I haven't gotten a response yet, so I'm going to post here.
My period was leaking through the months when I take my pill Balziva. I told my gyno and she said to not take the sugar pills, to just take the next pack. So I did, and I wanted my period this month just to have my period since my sister was freaking me out about not having my period and the dangers of it.
So I'm on the 3rd day of my sugar pill week...no period. I have sex with my boyfriend but he doesn't encounter my vagina with his sperm at all since we are extremely careful. I also have PCOS so I know that my chances of getting pregnant are very slim as well.
So really my question is, where the heck is my period?

It's not unusual for withdrawal bleeds (which is what we call the monthly bleeding for someone who is taking birth control pills) to not come right away when the inactive/sugar pills are started. It can really start any time that week.
Did your doctor say if she wanted you to skip the sugar pills all the time, or just sometimes?
I'm not sure what you mean by your boyfriend not encountering your vagina with his sperm during intercourse. Do you mean that he pulls out before he ejaculates?

We have vaginal intercourse he pulls out 10 minutes before he ejaculates every time. So there is no possible way sperm has come in contact with my vulva or vagina, since he is no where near there when he ejaculates.
She wanted me to skip the sugar pills in general. She never specified a date to start taking them again.

Plus, accoridng to my ovulation calendar, I am not ovulating.

So you're effectively using two birth control methods, the pill and withdrawal. While no method or combination of methods gives you 100% protection from becoming pregnant, using these two methods effectively gets you pretty darn close.
I would suggest going back to your doctor and asking for more information, as
it sounds like you're still not sure about what her intentions were for you to work on the breakthrough bleeding problem.
Also, if you're taking a combination pill (one with both estrogen and progesterone) you're most likely not ovulating at all, as the primary function of combination birth control pills is preventing ovulation.
In general, no calendar can tell one if one is ovulating unless one has been charting one's fertility cycles through taking their basal body temperature, an measuring one's cervical mucus daily and has been doing so for months. Again, though, this won't apply to your body right now as the pill prevents ovulation.
As I said above, you're effectively using two birth control methods. Neither of these methods offers prote ction against STI (sexually transmitted infection) transmission. Can I check in with you about whether you and your boyfriend have both recently been tested for STIs.
