Not sure how much of an emergency this is so feel free to move it, mods? D: More of a minor crisis perhaps...
Anyway, the facts:
- Menstruation 2--8 January, 36-day cycle. I'm not on the pill.
- Boyfriend returned from overseas after a month away and we had sex around 12 Jan. evening (condom completely intact before and after)
- On the 13th evening, I started having a moderate-to-large amount of brown discharge -- stains underwear, also appears when I wipe after using the bathroom -- and it's persisting today (15th where I am)

I understand it's pretty common for the body to release old blood after periods, but not this much. There's also no pain, itching/swelling/growth or detectable odour, so it might not be an infection. Still, it's now the third day of aforesaid brown discharge so I'm a little disconcerted (and Google MD will probably just say "cancer")
Thoughts? Thanks everyone [Frown]

That's a pretty long time to have spotting; however, even if one has never had it before, spotting between periods can happen and isn't generally cause for alarm.

Do you get regular sexual healthcare? If so, when was your last check-up?
