Hey there,

I'm really anxious right now because I've just noticed a very slight rash near my pubic area, and I'm scared it might be herpes.

I haven't had sex for about a year now, I've been scanned for STIs recently but came back negative on everything (swab and blood tests).

But just last night I noticed an itchiness just on the edge of my pubic region. It's really small, just on the border between my right leg and pubic area, at the front. I have a tiny series of red bumps there.

Is that anything to worry about? Should I make a doctor's appointment before it goes away? I've only just entered a new relationship, my boyfriend and I aren't sexual at all yet. I'm scared for if and when I have to tell him about it.

With a rash or any unidentified bumps, it is always a good idea to make a doctor's appointment while they're still visit, so the doctor can assess what it is. It could be anything from an allergic reaction to an infection, so it's best to have a doctor take a look.
