I'm worried I put a second tampon in before taking out the first one. I'm not 100% positive and I can't feel or see it. Help!!!

The vagina, when someone isn't aroused, is a pretty small place. It also ends at the cervix, so it's not like something as large as a tampon has anywhere to go besides the vaginal canal.

I'm a little unclear about what you mean here, but it sounds like you have a tampon in, and you're not sure how to get it out.

Did you get the second tampon (the one closest to the opening) out?

Is astring still sticking out?

Two things you can try are:
?

1. Feeling around inside your vagina to see what's going on.
2. Bearing down with your pelvic muscles to bring the tampon lower/closer to the opening.

I think I put in a second one without taking out the first. I took the second one out and have been trying to feel around for the first one but can't feel or see it. Could it be possible that the first one is still in there and has just been pushed to far up for me to feel/see it?

It certainly is possible. Bearing down with your pelvic muscles should bring it close enough for you to touch, though. The vagina is not actually very long, so anything inserted in it won't just completely disappear.

If I do that and still can't feel it should I just assume everythings ok and that I must have taken out the 1st one before inserting the 2nd? No need to go to the doctor? Really don't want to pay for a doctors visit if it's not neccasary but worried about toxic shock symndrome or whatever it's called. Thanks for the quick replys!!!!

Again, if you're bearing down and there's nothing you can feel with your fingers, you can know there's no tampon in there. There simply isn't anywhere for something as long as a tampon to hide in your vagina like that.
