Hello. My period is either missing or rather late and I've read the pregnancy scared thread multiple times to reassure myself I didn't do anything to put me at risk, I'm still worried that something is not right. I've been concerned starting at the very end of May when I was expecting my period and now a week into June I still haven't gotten it. NowI think I'm experience some spotting (which started 2 or 3 days ago), which has never happened before and I don't know what it means. I admittedly don't keep very good track of my cycles, and they shift - so for a few months I'll have them at the beginning of the month, but then i wont get the next one until the very end of one month and it runs over a few days into the next month and I'm confused as to what month I technically have it. My boyfriend and I have engaged in manual sex and dry sex and for both we've had clothes on varying from one to four layers between us at different times. According to the pregnancy scare thread this doesn't pose risk, and I can go into more detail if needed, but since I either haven't gotten my period or it's very late, I'm paranoid and worried about the chance of pregnancy. A few days ago I was experiencing some really bad itching/burning possibly like a yeast infection and thought that might be a reason why my period hadn't come, though I know this is unlikely. I was planning on going to the gynecologist (for the first time) next week when I get back from visiting some relatives out of town. I'm interested on going on birth control and also for a check up and to make sure I'm not pregnant. My mom just called and told me they couldn't get me an appointment until late July. That's much too long to wait I'm so worried about not having my period and getting BC and so I'm hoping to get some answers or opinions here. Thank you so much!
