my boyfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke. I've been on the pill for a few years and I just started a new pack, taking each one on time. The pill I'm on can also be used as EC (Levora), should I take the extra dose as EC or do you think I'd be ok without it?

The benefit of using two birth control methods is that if one goes haywire, you've got the other one.

Nothing you've described here is concerning.

So long as you've been using your birth control pill accurately (taking the pills basically on time every day, no delay with starting the new pack, etc) there should be no need for EC.
