I 'developed' this bump (roughly the size of a pen tip) (in the place you DON'T ever, EVER want to see a bump) about a year ago. it has not changed in size or characteristics, no itching or burning etc. Just the horrible embarrassment of knowing that it is there.
In the midst of a deep depression, I had ignored the bump, and passed it off as a skin tag as my father had them, and that was that. I never messed with it, soft, round, small (not clustered) never irritated - did not contain fluid, etc.
Now I've been doing my research, and to be frank - I'm horrified as to what it COULD be. There aren't many photos online of acute genital warts or HPV, most of them are nightmares that could console almost anybody's genital fear.
I've dated many women in the last year, none of whom mentioned it, so it was never a topic of discussion. Could It be hpv? I plan on going to the Planned Parenthood this week to get a visual exam, I'm just disgusted and mortified. Cant believe I ignored an obvious red flag like this. Somebody please provide me with some insight and I will be forever grateful.

We aren't doctors here, and even if we were we cannot diagnose you over the internet. The MAJORITY of sexually active people have HPV, so you certainly could have it, especially if you didn't use protection or get STI testing and ask your partners to get STI tests as well. Most HPV strains cause no symptoms, though. The best person to ask is a doctor. I would also recommend a full STI screening.
