A couple weeks ago, I was giving my boyfriend a handjob and he ejaculated. I'm not sure if it got on my hands but I remember wiping my hands on an old junk shirt that he had and I went to the bathroom about an hour later but used the toilet before I washed my hands. Now I'm worried that sperm was on my hand when I wiped. I heard about waiting 10-14 days to test and this past Sunday was day 14 and my period is due for this week. Last month I got it on the 20th so now I'm a couple days late but my cervix is open a lot. Since I've been so worried and stressed about this, I bought a cheap hpt and tested first thing this morning and it was negative. I guess I've been having slight cramps but they come and go during the day and they only last maybe 2 minutes. Is there any possible way that I could be pregnant from what happened or is this just stress getting the better of me?

Can you check this first? It should answer these questions for you: Pregnancy Scared?

So, since it was 'manual sex' and my hands were dry afterwards, there was no pregnancy risk? I'll just try to relax then, I want my period to come as soon as possible.

Also, how do you chart and predict your periods? Are you expecting them to come around or on the same date each month?

Well it comes around the same time every month. In May, it came on the 24th and last month it came on the 20th. I don't remember when it came before May, but I'm guessing it was around the same time too. My periods are usually regular also.

When that happens, it's actually pretty unusual, especially if it lasts more than a few months. Or, not unusual, but it means it's actually irregular.
That's because the number of days in a month changes every month, which means that, say, a cycle that's around 29 days each cycle, will tend to fall around the same time of the month for only a couple months, and then will usually take a jump because that number is static while the number of says in a month isn't. Make sense?
IOW, your period may not be late at all. You may just be tracking it and then trying to predict it in a way that isn't sound.

Yepp, that makes perfect sense. I never thought of it in that way. Well since I said that my cervix is open a lot and that I'm feeling 'slight' cramps here and there, is that a possibility that my period is on it's way?

You can test after about 2 weeks or when a period is missed. If you do test before a missed period and miss it after testing, you want to go ahead a re-test.
