Hi,

I'm a virgin, I've never had sex before. But my boyfriend usually rubs his private part against mines, with clothes off ofcourse. I'm worried that since he usually precums outside of my area(not inside, NEVER) if I could get pregnant? I'm so scared because I have not yet received my period and today is the last day of February. My last period was January 14. I'm so scared because I keep getting these white things in my panties, and more and more each day I keep getting it. Can someone please help me. I just turned 18 and as you can see I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SEX. So please someone help me so I could calm my nerves.

Precum does not typically contain sperm, and sperm are necessary to get pregnant. However, you two are having direct genital to genital contact so even if you weren't worried about pregnancy there is still an STI risk so you would want to see a doctor to get tested anyway.

Since you have missed your period you can take a pregnancy test if you like.

"White things" in your underwear is most likely just vaginal discharge but if you are worried then it's something to bring up with your doctor. If you do not currently have a doctor then you can use our Find-a-Doc database to search in your area.

There are lots of reasons your period may be late. M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period? does a great job of covering many of them.

And I'd encourage you to spend some time checking out the articles here on Scarleteen since you said that you don't know too much about sex. There's a lot of really fabulous information here. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

It sounds like what you're seeing is normal vaginal discharge. It's how the vagina keeps itself clean, and unless you notice a particularly strong odour, a change in colour or have any itching or burning, it's likely just fine.

I'm going to link you to a couple more articles to answer your questions here, but like Andy said, you may want to spend some time checking out the articles on the main site - there's a lot of good info there.

Welcome!

First things first, you can relax about your activities. Pre-ejaculate does not normally contain sperm. The only time that it might contain sperm would be if he had recently ejaculated and there might be some sperm left over in his urethra. This can be minimized even further by urinating after ejaculating and/or before starting activities. Here is an important article that you should start with Pregnancy Scared? ; it will help answer questions like: what is a pregnancy risk and what isn’t.

Please feel free to look around the board and all of the other posts!
Articles and more. Give them a try and let us know what we can be of further help with. [Smile]

Unless you've been charting your cervical mucus and your temperature daily for at least a few months, it isn't possible to tell when you're ovulating. Trying to guess where you are in your cycle based on one day of discharge isn't at all useful.

We can't really predict that. Discharge is something that happens all the time, although how much and what it looks like can vary, so unless you've been keeping track of it and know how it changes before you get your period, there's no way to know. Did you read that Honorably Discharged article I linked you to a few posts up? I think it will really clear a lot of things up for you.

Yes I did, I think I stated the post wrong.

My boyfriend's penis(head) is usually on my stomach thats where the precum usually lands. Im wondering if it's possible for the precum to pour all the way from the bottom of my stomach all the way down into my vagina hole (which is still covered by my hymen)and get me pregnant?

No, that is not possible. If your boyfriend's penis comes in direct contact with your vulva, then that poses a risk, but what you're describing is not a risk.

The vulva is the entire external genitalia.

There are two holes, the urethra and the vaginal opening. Urine comes out of the urethra, and the vaginal opening is where you have penetrative vaginal intercourse (where the penis or a toy or fingers go if you are having sex involving penetration). The hymen (more accurately called the carona) doesn't cover the vaginal hole either entirely or sometimes at all.

If it came into contact with the vulva, yes that could pose a risk of pregnancy. But what you described above about it going down from your stomach would not happen.
