Ok when i have sex with my boyfriend it is unprotected but we are both clean and im on birth control..but during sex my labias (lips) kind of swell up and its gets very uncomfortable. could it be an allergic reaction?

Well, if you're on birthcontrol, than it isn't unprotected sex.

Are you using extra lubrication? If not, the constant rubbing back and forth could cause some friction burns, making your labia swell or feel uncomfortable.

ok thanks so much it has happend before but i was always to scared to ask...so i should just use more lubrication?
