I just lost my virginity two days ago. I started bleeding about half way through. I know it is perfectly normal to bleed afterwards, but how long does it continue for? I am still bleeding. The pain has stopped for the most part if I leave it alone, but there is still a significant amount of blood. If anyone has an idea as to if this is normal, please let me know!

are you bleeding heavily? if so, that's not supposed to go this long? the bleeding during intercourse isn't supposed to last more than a few days, and even then, its not supposed to be a huge amount. are you sure it is not menstrual blood? anyway, if the bleeding persists for more than 4 days, especially if it is heavy and it is definitely not menstrual blood, you will need to see a doctor and make sure you did not injure anything during sexual intercourse. and definitely tell your doctor you are sexually active.
