Hi!
I have a simple question: anti inflammatories (NSAID) interact with BC?
I read the information about my BC and also about the anti inflammatories and none of them say that NSAID will reduce effectiveness but I would like to be sure about it. Im on combined BC.
I asked the pharmacist and she told me that its sure to take them together... could you confirm me please this information? I have to take anti inflammatories for about 3 weeks.

Thank you very much.

If there was no warning on either set of directions, and the pharmacist said that it would be fine to take them together, then it is sound to assume that is safe. You can find a list of the substances that may interact with BC here:
Combined Oral Contraceptives (The Pill)
If you are still anxious, using condoms or another back-up method will help you feel more at ease, and will mean you are more protected overall
