Okay so in December I finally got my period really late( it was a 50 day cycle) and it was short and light. Then about two weeks ago I got my period and it lasted about 4 days and it was light still but heavier than the one before. Now, two weeks later I'm starting my period again! I'm really confused why I am having two periods in one month, what could cause this and is it normal?

Hi Kylirb,

It's normal for periods to be irregular from time to time, and that can include being early. However, if your period continues to be irregular, you may want to have a check up with an OB-GYN just to make sure there isn't another cause. And, if the irregularity is really starting to make you stressed and unhappy, the OB-GYN (or your regular doctor) would be a good person to talk to about your options for regulating it.
