So I've had anxiety issues since I was 6 years old and lately it's been really killing me. I'm on medication for it but I have been diagnosed with tokophobia. No matter what I'm doing or where I am, I'm always afraid if being pregnant even though I'm a virgin and haw never had sex and haven't even had a boyfriend for months. I put in a tampon the other day and I've had really goopy, thick discharge that comes out in huge globs. I can't stop thinking in pregnant from using a tampon or even just touching my vagina or going to the bathroom and wiping with toilet paper. I know that this website isn't really suited for these kinds of situations but is there any article you could give me to help ease my mind? Thanks for being such a great website:)

Anxiety like this really is outside the scope of what we can help with; we can provide facts about pregnancy, but the issue here isn't that you don't have facts, because I know we've given you that information.
But if reading through that doesn't help, then this is something to talk to with a therapist or other mental healthcare provider. Whoever's overseeing your medication and has diagnosed you with tokophobia will be the best person to talk to here. You can let them know that you're still having persistent fears and they can work on that with you.
