I'm on OrthoTriCyclenLo, and I am visiting Florida on vacation. The time zone here is two hours ahead of my regular time zone, so I have to take my pill earlier than normal if I want to go to bed. I normally take my pill at 10PM at home, which means 12AM here. Can I just take it early at ten or ten thirty here, or should I set an alarm and wake up at midnight every night to take it? Since I am shortening the interval (it will be 22 hours in between pills for the first time I change it, instead of 24) does it matter? Thanks for your time.

You actually have about a 12-hour window in which to take your pill before it's officially considered late, so if you're used to taking the pill at 10 at home, you could take it at 10 in Florida and be well within the "proper use" window.
