I've just been reading about a condom I recently used with my partner. It is much different than normal condoms in the fact that it doesn't have a reservoir at the top, but I didn't think that meant I was any less safe. Anyway the condoms were brand new and I took the best care of them but trying to keep them out of the heat, anyway when my partner and I used them I didn't see any holes or anything else. But, I didn't examine them very throughly, I'm on the pill as well and the day before I was two hours late on my reminder pill, I was on my second day of placebos and after all the activity I bled because I wasn't before; and I had a period like normal. So my question is am I in the clear because I saw no breakage and even if if there was and I didn't notice I'm on the pill and my partner doesn't come inside me.

Hi watermeloncraze,

When condoms break, they really break! They split or shred noticeably. There aren't going to be holes or little splits that can't be noticed.

So, so long as the packaging of the condom was intact, it did not break, and it didn't slip off, you can know that you used the condom effectively.

Does this help?

Yes it does help, they didn't really break then. It also didn't slip off the condom may have rolled up a small amount but it did not come off all the way
