I live in India. I went to temple and priest gave me some food to eat. That food was open. It was not wrapped in any polythene or paper. After receiving that food I started to go home by my bike but in between I had a huge urge to urinate. So I urinated by the side of road and after that went to home.
Now after urination I did not wash my hands and gave that food to my mother.

Will my mother get pregnant because after urination I did not wash my hands and gave that food to my mother to eat?

Hi enthusiasm,

No, that is not a way anyone can get pregnant. urine is not what makes people pregnant. And people don't get pregnant when there is no sexual contact.

What you're describing is a way someone can get sick; bacteria and germs can be transferred when someone doesn't wash their hands and then handles food that is going to be eaten.

But again, your mother can't get pregnant from this.

Do you have any sexually transmitted infections or diseases? I ask because in order to transmit them to someone, you have to have them in the first place.

If you do not have any sexually transmitted infections or diseases it isn't possible for you to transmit them to anyone in any way.

Well, by all means, germs and infections are an issue when people don't wash their hands before preparing or touching food they give to others. So, we can't say no infections can be transmitted this way, because they can, though the kind of infections that are most commonly an issue with food being handled or prepared with unwashed or ungloved hands are not STIs.
