So I had a dry-humping pregnancy scare about 3 weeks ago, even though everything I was given to read on here said that I didn't have a legitimate scare. So when I got my period on the 15th, I was happy! (for the first time ever, haha) It was normal flow and everything. Today is the 17th (3rd day) and it's just kind of stopped. I'm kind of alarmed by it. Usually I have irregular cycles and they typically last 3-4 days with some final discharge in the 5th day. So, is it normal for your period to be only 2-3 days? Could it be stress-related? Or could I POSSIBLY be pregnant? That thought was finally out of my head until this morning when my period just basically stopped... As long as I had a period, I should be fine, right? The breast tenderness and bloating has ended, so now I know that was a part of PMS. I'm just confused.

If you are still concerned about possibly being pregnant, then it's on you to take the next step here and take a pregnancy test, okay?

Is it necessary for her to take a pregnancy test or is she okay since she got some type of period?

And isn't it a period if it's more than just a little bit of spotting?

Hi Kathryn,

If you have your own question, can you make your own topic? This section is for staff and volunteer replies only and if you have a related question, it's easier for us to answer if it's in its own thread.
