Hello! Im 20 years old and I've been sexually active for about a year, I have only been with my boyfriend, we always use condoms. Here is my problem: My boyfriend and I had sex, but it wasnt until 2 days later that I started having a weird feeling in the entrance of my vagina. It tickles and I have the feeling of always wanting to pee, BUT it doesnt hurt when I pee. Last night I woke up having this weird pain on my uterus and ovaries. Could it be an infection? I wish I could ask someone but, premarital sex is such a taboo here among olders.

Welcome to the boards, gigichan. [Smile]

Something like this could be any number of things. Certainly, it could be an infection, including a urinary tract infection. If you're stating to have uterine or abdominal pain, then that becomes a more likely prospect, and so the only sound advice we can give you is to seek out sexual healthcare.

I hear you saying you don't feel able to ask someone because of certain cultural ideas, but I do know sexual healthcare is available where you are, to anyone, including those who are having sex outside marriage, so might you be open to seeking it out?

Thank you so much! I would try to seek for sexual healthcare as soon as possible.

Do you feel like you can find that care on your own, or would you like some help finding it?
