Hi, I'd posted earlier about a dry sex pregnancy scare, and sure enough, my girlfriend got her periods on her 25th day although she usually gets it on the 28th or 29th day. She said her flow was as heavy as it normally is too.
However, she's been complaining of a fever, body ache and general weakness. She doesn't have a sore throat or a cold, so it can't really be flu. Even her doctor said there are no detectable symptoms.
Can this be due to pregnancy? It was dry sex, so she shouldn't be pregnant really, but we're really worried as she doesn't generally have these symptoms during her periods. And I read somewhere that sometimes women do get periods even when pregnant.

So you're saying that your girlfriend currently has a period, plus a fever and body aches which her doctor can't find a cause for?
Fever and body aches aren't usual symptoms of pregnancy, plus, nothing can be a symptom of pregnancy if there was no possibility of pregnancy in the first place.
No, people don't get their periods during pregnancy. Some people do experience bleeding during pregnancy, but the menstrual cycle stops when pregnancy starts, so that bleeding isn't actually a period. When a period looks and acts like it usually does, and comes at around the time when one is expecting it (which your girlfriend's period did) one can be sure it's a period.
