So my cycle has been pretty crazy lately. I told my mom and she told me that every girl will have a crazy cycle sometimes. So I had my period last week. Started on June 9 and ended around June 14. About three days after my cycle I noticed this pinching pain in my lower abdomen. It is sometimes on the left side and then sometimes on the right. It isn't too painfulm, just annoying. So just a few minutes ago I wiped and noticed alot of cervical mucus. It wasn't really clear and it had really really tiny specks of blood in it. The blood looked sorta reddish. What do you think is causing this? Could I possibly be ovulating? Last month I had one spot of blood randomly too. I haven't had sex so it isn't like I have an STD. I am really freaking out about this.

Some people do have a tiny bit of spotting with ovulation, so that could be it, but abdominal pain and spotting can be due to a bunch of different things (stress, slight hormone fluctuations, etc). If it keeps up, or the pain gets worse, then it wouldn't hurt to check in with a healthcare provider, but otherwise, I wouldn't be concerned.
