I'm expecting my period soon; I was fingered yesterday, and afterwards, I was sitting on top of my partner and noticed a little bloody discharge on his underwear, and so I assumed that was my period. The fingering was not rough at all, and since the blood was not bright red, I don't think it was any kind of scratch or irritation from that. The rest of the day, I had some brownish discharge, but nothing more. Today, there still isn't a period, and the discharge has turned yellowish. I haven't had any risks this past month, so what could the problem be? I'm a little concerned.

Hi Roxie,

Sometimes periods can start slowly, or even stop and start. That may be what you're experiencing here.
