Is it normal to get a lot of discharge right before I'm supposed to be ovulating? does this mean that it is releasing the egg? I have read your honorably discharged article I was just wondering if that meant that it was releasing the egg and if it is normal?

I think you're asking if it's okay and healthy to get a lot of discharge. There's nothing unhealthy about it unless the discharge looks or smells different, as you read in the article about discharges.

Many people get different amounts of discharge throughout their cycle, and might get more or less discharge in some cycles.

Does that answer your question?

That answers it mostly, but one thing I am still a little confused on is if this means that it is releasing the egg

As Robin said, people get different amounts of discharge throughout their cycles, so we can't tell you what it means. If you want more information on tracking your fertility cycle, check out these articles and then talk to your doctor about it:
