I've been thinking about getting fitted with the Copper T IUD, but I have a question: Will it change the scent or taste of my vaginal fluids? Given that having different smelling discharge is usually a sign that something's not-quite-right, I'd like to know if this is something I should expect, or if I can still use that as a signal of not-quite-right.

Hi techie, I'm not aware of any difference in the smell of discharge with an IUD, but I'm admittedly not an expert in that particular area. You can always phone up your doctor and ask them any and all questions you have about the IUD, though [Smile]
