Hello, I've been looking for a good week now and I can't find parental consent laws for an abortion in Canada. I live in Nova Scotia and I was wondering if you could tell me, or direct me to a website that would know.

In a nutshell, this isn't a national or provincial issue or policy to my knowledge, it's about if and when specific hospitals have these policies -- or don't -- for those under 16. But on the whole, my impression is that most minors seeking abortion in Canada will have their privacy respected and parents will not need to give consent.
